Up to this time, out of a class of 640, only 380 Seniors have returned the Secretary's "lives", and only 420 have sent in the postals. For the sake of class unity, and to preserve their connection with it, all Seniors are urged to send in "lives" and postals at an early date.
The treasurer has received so far but 243 pledges out of the 640 men who should respond. This small percentage is very disappointing in view of the fact that former classes have responded much more quickly and generously.
The total amount pledged so far is $8,653,54, which brings the average contribution down to a little more than $35, the lowest that has over been reached by recent Senior classes. Of the amount pledged, only $445 has been sent in.
As this money is to be used in aiding the various class committees, and in conducting our triennial, sexennial and decennial reunions, it is essential that Seniors act quickly and generously. Men who have lost their pledge-cards may get others by applying or sending a postal to the treasurer at Hollis 30.
