Twenty five men reported at Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon for the first outdoor lacrosse practice. The poor condition of the field prevented any real work, so only a short practice was held.

The response of the Freshman class was extremely disappointing, for only two men reported. It is imperative that as many 1917 men as possible, although inexperienced, should report this afternoon and do their share towards making the season a success.
