The first issue of the new Technology Monthly appeared Thursday. This is the first issue of the Monthly since its Union with the Harvard Engineering Journal. As a result of the combination the latter will cease publication after its next number, its interests being taken over by the Technology Monthly.

The new magazine includes news of the various Harvard engineering societies and organizations, the reports of the Association of Harvard Engineers, complete alumni notes of both the University and the Institute, and articles on subjects of mutual current interest.

New elections to the Monthly have just been made from Technology and it is the desire of the editors to keep each school closely in touch with the activities of the other. The merger promises to be a successful step in the new alliance between the Institute and the University.
