Committee on Freshman Affairs is Designed to Start Class Activities Earlier In the Season.

At a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Student Council it was voted to organize a Committee on Freshman Class Affairs as one of the regular committees of the Student Council. The committee is to be composed of three members, the President of the Student Council acting as chairman and appointing the other two members from the Sophomore class. All Freshman affairs such as mass meetings, smokers and the Red Book, will be in the hands of this committee until the election of Freshman class officers has taken place. After that the committee will assume a merely advisory relation toward the Freshman officers assisting them in any way possible. The new committee will have power to appoint a chairman of the Red Book Committee before the Freshman elections have been held. The following men have been elected as members of the first Committee on Freshman Class Affairs:

S. P. Clark '14, chairman.

C. F. Farrington.

W. J. Bingham.

The Executive Committee of the Student Council has sanctioned the appointment of G. H. Williams '15 as assistant manager of tennis, subject to the approval of the Athletic Committee.
