Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
The University fencing team defeated Yale 5 bouts to 4 last night in the Hemenway Gymnasium. All the matches except three were very closely contested, and the play was fast throughout.
The decisions were awarded to the men making the greatest number of touches in a four-minute bout. So many touches were made and so fast was the play that even the judges were sometimes bewildered.
The University men won the first three bouts, and later led 5 to 3. Two substitutes were then put in and, although defeated, showed themselves fast and skilful.
A record of the bonts in order follows, the score recording touches: Damon, captain (H.), defeated Cook (Y), 6-5; Putnam (H.), defeated Nickerson (Y.), 4-3; von Nardroff (H.), defeated Miller, captain (Y.), 8-5; Cook (Y.), defeated Putnam (H.), 6-5 (overtime bout); von Nardroff (H.), defeated Nickerson (Y.), 10-1; Miller (Y.), defeated Damon (H.), 8-6; von Nardroff (H.), defeated Cook (Y.), 6-1; Nickerson (Y.), defeated de Kay (H.), 10-8; Miller (Y.), defeated Nichols (H.), 10-2.
