The University swimming team will hold its first regular meet of the season with Cornell on Friday. Candidates for the team have been practicing regularly but the men have not yet been picked. Several practice meets have already been held to show the individual strength of the team.
The Cornell meet will be held in the Boston Y. M. C. A. tank and on the same evening the Freshman team will meet Mechanics Arts High School. In order that a large number of undergraduates may attend, reserve seat tickets at 50 cents and admission cards at 25 cents have been placed on sale at Leavitt & Peirce's.
The remaining dates of the schedule are:
February 13.--Cornell, at Boston Y. M. C. A.
February 18.--Andover at Andover.
February 20.--Amherst, at Cambridge.
February 25.--Brown, at Providence.
