In view of the two hard games coming this week, practice for the University hockey team was lighter than usual yesterday afternoon. During the first half-hour, the forward lines practised coming down the ice together. The rest of the time was occupied with a short scrimmage between the regulars and the substitutes, which resulted in a 4 to 3 victory for the University team. For the regulars, Phillips scored two goals, Hopkins and Doty one.
The team will start for New Haven at 1 o'clock tomorrow and return that night, in order to have two days of practice before the Princeton game on Saturday.
