BATTERY MEN REPORT TODAY

Candidates for University and Freshman Teams Commence Indoor Work in Cage at 2.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Battery candidates for the University and Freshman baseball teams will report in the Cage this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Coach Sexton and Captain D. J. P. Wingate '14 will be in charge of the practice, which will be the first since the fall work-out. For the past several weeks the men have been exercising on the chest-weights in the Gymnasium to get in condition for the early season work.

The men who will report today are those battery candidates who have been retained from the fall practice, and those who have since secured special permission from Captain Wingate, together with the Freshmen. Important work will begin in earnest immediately. Regular work for the entire squad will not commence until the first of March when Freshman and University fielding candidates will report.
