VARIED ATHLETICS FOR FRESHMEN

Meeting in Union This Afternoon for Men Not Out For Teams.

A meeting of the Freshmen who intend to take advantage of the general athletic class will be held in the Trophy Room of the Union this afternoon at 4 o'clock. C. F. Damon '15 and Dr. P. Withington '10 will outline the plans of the class and divide the men into squads according to height and weight.

The class will meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons about 4 o'clock in Hemenway Gymnasium. Coach Mann of the University swimming team will instruct in swimming; Sam Anderson, ex-world's champion middleweight wrestler will coach the wrestling squads; Mr. Leslabay will take charge of the fencing, Coach Foley of the boxing, and Dr. P. Withington '10, of the general gymnastic class. Work in this last division will include running, jumping, vaulting and tumbling.
