RED CROSS DAY.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Today is Red Cross Day. The need of the University's making a substantial contribution to war relief need not be dilated upon. The need exists beyond any question. Meeting it is the problem that confronts the University today.

Every man has been asked to give a dollar, but more or less will be gladly accepted by the collectors. There will be no collecting at the Senior polls, which is wise, but there will be a vigorous room-to-room canvass, and the "walking squad" will scour the Yard and surround the class rooms. No man will be missed; every man should give willingly. His "tag" will be a badge of pride, a symbol of at least one day's duty in regard to the war, accomplished in a practical manner.
