Fencing Team Lacks Candidates

More men, are wanted to try out for the fencing team. There is no regular Freshman team, but at the end of the season, in April, a novice meet is held at which three medals are awarded. This is usually the objective of men during their first year.

The University team will have a busy season in 1915. Meets have been arranged to take place in February and March with the following colleges: Yale, Williams, Bowdoin, Pennsylvania, United States Naval Academy, and probably Springfield Training School. The preliminaries of the intercollegiate tournament will be held in Boston later in the season, and the finals will take place at the Hotel Astor, New York City, on the Friday and Saturday preceding Easter.
