Chess Games by Mail is Latest

The University chess team has entered a new field in undertaking chess matches by mail with the University of Michigan and Drury College, Missouri. The first-named match will be played on five boards, and the latter on two. The contestants will mail their moves to each other once a week, and play will be kept on until all the boards are finished.

Play will begin next week. The following teams have been selected: Against Michigan, D. M. Beers '15, A. S. Ellenberger uC., R. Johnson '16, A. B. Bruce '15 and C. H. Fabens 2L.; against Drury, D. M. Beers '15 and A. S. Ellenberger.
