The twenty-third annual intercollegiate chess tournament between Columbia Yale, Princeton, and the University will be held at the Murray Hill Hotel, New York, on December 28, 29, 30. Fourteen terams will represent each university, Harvard's representatives being: Captain D. M. Beers '15, A. S. Ellenberger uC., R. Johnson '16, and A. B. Bruce C. A. Fabens 2L. and R. H. Kenna '17, will accompany the team as substitutes. Columbia is conceded to have the best chance to win the championship his year, while the Univeristy will oubtless have a close contest with Yale for seceond place. The Harvard team will be guests of the Yale Club of New York for breakfast on December 30.
