47 WORKSHOP PRODUCES "CHIMES"

First Performance of Christmas Play in South Boston Today.

The first of the Christmas performances of "The Chimes" by the 47 Workshop company will be given at Dahlgren Hall, South Boston, this evening at 8.15 o'clock.

The play is by Miss Elizabeth McFadden, a former member of English 47 and one of the founders of the Workshop. K. Putnam '11, D. L. Kennedy '17, S. A. Peters ocC., and S. L. Cleveland '16 are in the cast. T. C. Browne '15 will have charge of the electrical effects and E. P. Goodnow '17 and G. Heym 1G., of the scenery end.

"The Chimes" will be presented at the Roxbury Neighborhood House tomorrow afternoon and evening.
