Henley Regatta Stopped by War

The Henley regatta, in which the University crew won the Grand Challenge Cup last summer, will not be held until the cessation of hostilities in Europe, according to the announcement of the stewards of the regatta. This series of rowing races is the most famous in the world, having been started in 1839. Up to the present time it has taken place every summer without an interruption.
