Teams A and B of the University hockey squad had a spirited 8-minute scrimmage at the Arena yesterday afternoon, but neither team was able to score. The team-play of the men is steadily improving, and with the ice in better condition than it has been thus far, yesterday's practice was the most successful they have had. There now remain but two more days of practice before the game with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Teams C and D had a short scrimmage yesterday but no scoring was done. As there was no ice on Hammond's Pond, the remainder of the squad also practiced at the Arena, receiving a thorough drill in passing and shooting. Teams A and B lined up as follows:
