The University soccer team's victory Saturday, assuring the eleven of second place in the intercollegiate series, completed a season in which the team, although less successful than last year's, accomplished satisfactory results. Contrary to the custom of the past, the intercollegiate series this year was played in the fall. This season, consequently, the teams lacked the preparation which hitherto they have obtained from fall practice. Whether this change was of any peculiar disadvantage to the University squad or not, a spring practice this year should prepare an eleven able to make a strong bid for championship honors in 1915.
