In the second half Standish braced perceptably, keeping Gore from scoring again, and twice almost succeeding in scoring itself.
The present standing of the teams is:
Smith, won 1, lost 0.
Gore, won 1, lost 1.
Standish, won 0, lost 1.
The last game in the series will be played between Smith and Standish on Soldiers Field tomorrow afternoon at 8 o'clock.
