The scrub lacrosse series ended yesterday, when the "Braves" defeated the "Athletics" 7 to 1 in the last game of the round robin, thereby cinching the championship of which they were already practically assured.
Under the rules of the series, the members of the winning team receive individual cups, donated by Mr. Kennet B. Day '10, President of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse League. The following 10 men comprising the "Braves" team will receive cups: J. T. Beal '17, (captain), M. H. Cochran '15, R. O. Chaffee '18, E. B. Flu '17, W. T. E. Gleason '17, W. B. Kroetzsch '15, W. E. Nightingale '15, A. I. Richardson '16, L. B. Rossbach '15, P. D. Woodbridge '17.
The close of the series marks the end of the fall season, but voluntary practice will continue until cold weather sets in.
