The fall baseball season was brought to a close with yesterday's practice. About twenty-five men reported daily during the month of October. Fourteen games with outside teams were played, of which eight were won, four lost, and one tied. A number of fairly promising Freshman candidates also came out regularly. In developing material, and in giving a line on the men, the practice was extremely valuable. A large proportion of those who reported regularly were men who have not heretofore played on the University squad.
