POLICE LEADER TO LECTURE

ARTHUR WOODS '92 TO SPEAK ON MUNICIPAL AFFAIRS MONDAY.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Mr. Arthur Woods '92, police commissioner of New York City, will address the members of the Union on Monday evening at 8 o'clock in the Living Room of the Union. His talk will centre about police and municipal affairs in the large cities and should prove very interesting. Mr. Woods was expected to speak here on November 18, but was obliged to cancel his engagement.

On December 7 Mr. R. L. O'Brien '90, managing editor of the Boston "Herald," will speak in the Union on journalism, particularly the compensations it has to offer. He will also recite some of his experiences in the past as a war correspondent.

Professor Copeland, as he was always done on the two Wednesdays preceding the Christmas vacation, will give selected readings from noted authors in the Union on December 9 and 16.
