At the first meetings of the University and Freshman hockey squads last evening, 72 candidates for the University team and 65 Freshmen reported. Coach Winsor and Captain W. H. Claflin '15 outlined the work of the coming season and Dr. Channing Frothingham '02 spoke on the correct methods of training and of the value of it.

Practice for the University squad will begin Monday afternoon and will consist in shooting the puck in the Hemenway Gymnasium followed by a run across country. This will be the program for both Freshman and University squads until December 10, when the Arena in Boston will open. The University team will play several games before the Christmas vacation. The schedule will be announced as soon as it is ratified by the Athletic Committee.
