HOCKEY SEASON INAUGURATED

There will be a meeting for all candidates for the University hockey team in the Trophy Room of the Union this evening at 7.30 o'clock. Coach Winsor, W. H. Claflin '15, captain, and some former members of University teams will speak.

The meeting for candidates for the Freshman teams will be held in the same room at 8.30 o'clock. 1918 manager candidates will be called out shortly. There will be a meeting of candidates for the position of second assistant manager of the University team in Matthews 5 at 2.30 o'clock this afternoon.

Practice for both University and Freshman squads will begin on Monday, but as the Arena in Boston will not open until December 10, it will consist largely in shooting practice and long conditioning runs. Every available man who can play hockey should make a point of attending these meetings tonight.
