AMBITIOUS YEAR FOR SWIMMERS

Meeting Friday Evening.--Work Begins Monday Under Coach Mann.

Work for the University and Freshman swimming teams will begin on Monday and daily practice will be held in the Cambridge Y. M. C. A. under the direction of Coach Mann. There will be a meeting for all candidates for both Freshman and University teams on Friday in 52 Dunster Hall at 7.30 o'clock.

From last year's team, B. M. Fullerton '16 (captain), W. K. Munro '16 and R. L. Small '16 remain. Several good men from last year's Freshman team are available and should make valuable University material. These are J. W. D. Seymour '17, N. Chadwick '17, H. Wentworth '17 and E. H. Gibb '17. A number of new men have signified their intention of trying for the team.

There will be no meet with Yale this year. The tentative schedule for the University team follows:

Week of December 7--Practice meets with Freshmen.

December 14--Cambridge Y. M. C. A.

January 9--Cambridge Y. M. C. A.

January 13--Brookline Gymnasium A. A.

January 23--Worcester Academy.

January 30--Andover.

February 3--Cambridge Y. M. C. A.

February 6--Brookline Swimming Club.

February 10--Boston Y. M. C. A.

February 13--Cornell.

February 17--Brookline Gymnasium A. A.

February 20--Columbia.

February 22 -- College of the City of New York.
