Took New England Championship for Second Time in Succession

In the New England Intercollegiate Athletic Association cross-country run held Saturday over the new Franklin Park course, the University of Maine won the championship for the second year in succession with a score of 66 points. Technology and Dartmouth were right behind with 69 and 73 points respectively. Massachusetts Agricultural College, Williams, Colby, Brown, Worcester Polytechnical Institute, and Amherst followed in that order.

All the honors went to Maine, as Preti of the winning team was the first man in. His time for the course was 25 minutes, 15 3-5 seconds, which stands as a record. Shriver of Williams was second, while Bill, of Maine, and Cook, of Technology, finishing a second apart, were third and fourth respectively.
