Tonight the men interested in the University track team are expected to attend a meeting in the Union.

Track needs material more than any other major sport this year. The track team's chances for a successful season depend largely on the early interest of the men. It is going to be necessary to develop point winners from comparatively inexperienced material, so an early and a vigorous start is important. The attention of Sophomores especially is called to this meeting. In 1917 there are plenty of men who have the making of good track athletes if they will come out now and train faithfully.
