In no sport has a "green" man a better chance to develop and to attain final success than in track. Athletic history is full of instances where a man of no experience has gone out in his Freshman year and has become a first class track athlete before his graduation.

Tonight the candidates for the Freshman team are called out. It is hoped that a wealth of promising material, even if a deal of it is "green," will be present at tonight's meeting in Gore Hall.
