Hartwell Bishop '03 of San Francisco, Cal., died at the Peter Bent Brigham hospital of the Medical School on Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. The cause of his death was an absess of the brain, following an illness of one week. While in college, Mr. Bishop was very prominent in class affairs and was an editor of the Lampoon. After his graduation, he went to Columbia where he received a degree in civil engineering in 1905. The greater part of the time since graduation has been spent in the employ of the United Railroads of San Francisco. He is survived by his wife Katherine Marvin Bishop, of San Francisco. The funeral will be held at the Waterman Chapel, 2328 Washington Street, Boston, tomorrow at one o'clock.
