In the past academic year the Massachusetts Institute of Technology expended nearly $23,000 in scholarships to students, according to the report just issued by the committee on scholarships. The figures show that practically one student out of every five in Technology receives a scholarship, and a large percentage can thus continue in school who otherwise could not afford to.
