"Michigan is coming, body and soul, into a strange neighborhood. The Michigan men are bringing a student band, and one of the most powerful male choruses that ever yelled in a stadium." These words of the communication this morning constitute a challenge for the display of Harvard's enthusiasm and loyalty for the team which will represent her on Saturday.

The team has now entered the home stretch. It has fought up-hill battles against big odds and still has four hard games to face. That we may perfect the songs and cheers which are the instruments of displaying our enthusiasm, loyalty, and appreciation of the work of the team, is the object of the mass meeting tonight. Every Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior should attend not only for that purpose, but also to express his hearty appreciation of Captain Brickley. His loss has been a severe one to the team and it is hard for him to be deprived of leading his team in the final games of this season. We expect everyone to turn out tonight in support of the team he has so ably generalled.
