In the third contest of the scrub lacrosse series yesterday, the "Athletics" defeated the "Giants" 2 to 1. This was the fastest and hardest-fought game of the series and the playing was above the average, considering the amount of practice the men have had. P. Catton '15 scored the two goals for the "Athletics" and J. R. Fleming '15 brought in the lone tally for the "Giants." The schedule of the remaining games in the series follows:

October 26.--"Braves" vs. "Red Sox."

October 27. -- "Athletics" vs. "Red Sox."

October 28.--"Braves" vs. "Giants."

October 29.--"Braves" vs. "Athletics."
