Symphony Orchestra Season Opens

The first Boston Symphony Orchestra concert of the fall will be given in Sanders Theatre this evening at 8 o'clock. Mr. Pasquale Amato will be the soloist. Single admission tickets will be on sale today at Kent's Book-store at $1 each. After to-day season tickets for the remaining concerts will be on sale.

The program is as follows:

Beethoven, Symphony in E Fiat major, No. 3, "Eroica."

Saint Saens, Aria, "Qui done commande quand il aime," from "Henry VIII."

Richard Strauss, Tone Poem, "Don Juan."

Handel, air, "Ombra mal fu", from "Xerxes."

Weber, Overture, Euryanthe.
