New Stadium for Princeton

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Princeton's new $300,000 athletic field, the Palmer Stadium, will be opened next Saturday for the game with Dartmouth. Work on the structure has been rushed for the past fortnight and it is certain of completion by Friday.

The stadium will seat 41,000 people and will be used exclusively for football. One of the features of Mr. Palmer's gift is that the Princeton Athletic Association shall turn over to the university each year the sum of $10,000, representing the annual expenditure formerly necessary for the construction of the great wooden stands at University Field.
