Handicap Events Under Way

Three handicap track events were run off yesterday in spite of the inclement weather. The winners and their times follow:

880-yard run--Won by R. G. Donahue '16 (20 yards); second, F. W. Capper '15 (scratch); third, J. H. Townsend '17 (40 yards). Time, 2 minutes, 3 seconds.

440-yard dash--Won by R. Tower '15 (scratch); second, H. A. Swan '15 (10 yards); third, W. S. Simpkins '17 (30 yards). Time, 52 seconds.

Shot-put--Won by J. G. Green '17 (2 feet, 6 inches); second, W. H. Meanix '16 (scratch). Distance, 36 feet 7 1-2 inches.

The following events are scheduled for today: At 2.30 o'clock--100-yard dash and high jump; at 4 o'clock--3-mile run.
