The handicap track events to be run off this week begin this afternoon and are open to all University track men who have passed their strength tests. Prizes are to be given for the first three places. Men should report promptly in order that the events may be finished before football practice begins.
The schedule in detail follows:
Today, at 2.30 o'clock.--880-yard run and shot-put; at 2.45 o'clock--440-yard dash.
Tomorrow, at 2.30 o'clock.--100-yard dash and high-jump; at 4 o'clock--3-mile run.
Wednesday, at 2.30 o'clock.--90-yard high hurdles and pole-vault; at 2.45 o'clock--120-yard low hurdles.
Thursday, at 2.30 o'clock.--Broad jump; at 3 o'clock--hammer-throw.
