The total registration at Columbia is 12,509, the largest registration of any university in the world today. Princeton's enrollment this year is the largest in the history of that institution, according to figures recently given out, which show that 1,606 are enrolled in all classes.
According to the Amherst College Directory just issued the total registration of students is 410 as against 406 a year ago. They are distributed as follows: Seniors, 93; Juniors, 86; Sophomores, 106; Freshmen, 125.
According to figures given out by the registrar of the University of Michigan, the total registration in that institution is 6,500, an increase of 250 over last year. Owing to the increased requirements for admission, however, the enrollment in the Law School has fallen off slightly.
