A large number of plays for so early in the season has already been handed in for the Dramatic Club competition and several more are nearly finished. As all manuscripts handed in for the Craig competition in Boston which are not available for use will be turned over to the Dramatic Club, there is little danger of there being a dearth of material.
Among these plays there is an unusually larger number of lighter comedies and fewer tragedies than previously. There are also several promising long plays.
The performance of the Dramatic Club in Boston on December 11 will be given in Copley Hall, as the new Toy Theatre, where the production was to have been staged will not be completed until December 19.
