Owing to unforeseen difficulties the contractors have been unable to finish the new Technology field, and its opening, scheduled for last Tuesday has been postponed. This delay will probably cause a rearrangement of the fall track schedule. Unless the field is finished by the end of the week the fall track meet will be postponed and the annual cross-country handicap race will be run at Wakefield this Saturday instead of the end of November, as usual.
The delay in completing the track will probably not affect the dual meet between the University and Technology scheduled for October 24. In this meet the mile and tow-mile events will be replaced by a three-mile run for the benefit of the cross-country men.
