University Entries Show Up Well in Sprints and 3-Mile Run.

In the track meet held on the Boston Common yesterday morning, University men scored in four different events. In the novice 100-yard dash B. Z. Nelson '15 and L. C. Henin '15 secured first and third places respectively, Nelson crossing the tape in 10 2-5 seconds. J. L. Foley '15 came in third in the open 100-yard dash. H. R. Bechtel '17, finished second in the novice 880-yard run, being the only Harvard man to win a place in that event. The cross-country men showed up well, C. Southworth '15 and R. S. Cook '17 taking second and third places respectively in the 3-mile run.
