Sophomores wishing to try for positions on the news board of the CRIMSON should report at the CRIMSON Office in the Union tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock. The competition started about a week ago, but men reporting now will not be seriously handicapped in their efforts. The work consists chiefly of gathering and writing up University news. In this way an invaluable opportunity for becoming acquainted with the men prominent in undergraduate life is afforded. Moreover, in addition to furnishing a first hand knowledge of newspaper work, the competition supplies a business training valuable in any career. From two to four positions--depending upon the capacity of the candidates--will be filled this fall giving members of 1917, an excellent opportunity to make the board.
