VOLUNTARY ROWING BEGINS

Coaches to Give Individual Coaching Morning and Afternoon.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Voluntary practice for candidates for the University and Freshman crews will begin at the Newell boathouse today. The boathouse will be open every day both morning and afternoon and Coach Wray will be on hand to direct the work on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and every afternoon except Saturday. While every one who is able should come out, it is particularly desirable that all Freshmen and others who have had little rowing experience should report, as this is an excellent opportunity to receive individual coaching. It is to be remembered, however, that voluntary rowing must be kept secondary to college work. Regular practice will not begin until after the examination period.
