The Intercollegiate Musical Association, if it develops in practice, will be an excellent thing. It will afford the colleges one more common ground of association; and it will introduce competition, one of the greatest known agencies for rousing effort, into another field of college activity. Further it will stand as an indication that there are serious interests in college beside those of athletics.
