All students in Harvard College, except those who entered before 1910, must pass before the end of their second year a special oral examination, to test their power of translating either French or German. Any member of these classes who has not already passed this oral examination, and wishes to take it during the mid-year examination period, must notify the Recorder, 4 University Hall, in writing, before January 17, 1914. Each candidates will then be notified when and where to present himself for the oral examination.
