Team B defeated Team A in a sort but closely contested scrimmage in the Arena yesterday afternoon by the score of 1 to 0. The work of both teams was far from perfect, and neither line was able to penetrate the opposing defence to any degree. Special attention was pad to passing, in which the team is lamentably weak. Captain Willetts and Claflin are still suffering from minor injuries and Phillips was given a rest.

The line-ups: TEAM B.  TEAM A. Curtis, l.w.  r.w.Smart Adams, l.c.  r.c. Wanamaker Saltonstall, r.c.  r.c., Hopkins Morgan, Devereux r.w.  l.w., S.P. Clark McKinlock, c.p.  c.p., Doty C. S. Clark, p.  p. Cunningnam Carnochan, g.  g., Washburn
