Much important business was transacted at the first meeting of the Athletic Committee held Friday evening.
A track schedule as submitted by Manager Squibb was approved. It was voted to allow the soccer team to play Princeton at Princeton on the morning of November 8. It was also voted to allow the candidates for the University baseball team to play a few games with outside teams this fall.
Ralph Winsor was reappointed coach of the University hockey team as was Coach Leslaby of the fencing team.
The fall track schedule is as follows: October 9, first consolation cross-country run; October 17, Freshman track meet; October 22, Second consolation cross-country run; October 24, handicap track meet; November 1, Cornell dual cross-country run; November 5, Third consolation cross-country run; November 8, Yale dual cross-country run at New Haven; November 12, interclass cross-country run; November 22, intercollegiate cross-country run at New York.
