Yale and Cornell Both on Top

Yale turned the tables on Wesleyan yesterday at New Haven in the opening game of the season by defeating her rival 21 to 0. Last year Wesleyan was victorious by the score of 9 to 3. As yesterday's score indicates, Yale had a very easy time of it. Her backs made many long runs, advancing almost at will. Substitutions were frequent.

Cornell was also victorious yesterday, defeating Ursinus by the small margin of 4 to 0. The game was very hard fought, and the Cornell eleven failed to show the speed and power hoped for by her supporters. On the other hand Ursinus showed entirely unexpected strength.
