FIRST FOOTBALL CONTESTS TODAY

Cornell, Yale, Holy Cross, and Carlisle Will Play First Games of Season.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Except for one or two semi-practice games, today will see the opening contests of the 1913 football season. Cornell, Yale, Holy Cross, and Carlisle will open up with games this afternoon.

Cornell will meet Ursinus at Ithaca, and will be afforded an opportunity to feel out the strength of the 60 men who have participated in-practice during the past week.

Against Wesleyan in New Haven, Yale will undoubtedly use as many men as possible to further the process of weeding out undesirables.

Holy Cross will play Norwich at Worcester, and Carlisle faces Lebanon Valley at Carlisle.
