The annual reception to the Freshman class will be held in Phillips Brooks House this evening at 8 o'clock. All members of the class of 1917 as well as men entering the undergraduate department of the University this fall are invited to attend. G. F. Plimpton '14, vice-president of the Phillips Brooks House Association, will preside and introduce the following speakers: Dean Briggs; Professor Bliss Perry, of the Department of English; President A. P. Fitch '00, of Andover Theological Seminary; A. Beane '11, graduate secretary of Phillips Brooks House; W. C. Brown, Jr., '14, president of the CRIMSON; C. H. Crombie '14, president of the Lampoon; and Captain R. T. P. Storer '14, of the football team.

The University Glee Club will sing later in the evening, after which refreshments will be served.

As this is the first opportunity for members of 1917 to get acquainted and to hear from upper class speakers, the attendance should include the entire Freshman class.
