Owing to the rain yesterday afternoon, it was necessary to postpone the final match in the College doubles tennis tournament, in which J. C. Bevereux '14 and E. R. Hastings, Jr., '14 were to play E. H. Whitney '14 and J. J. Armstrong '14.
In the finals to decide the College singles championship W. M. Washburn '15 played J. J. Armstrong '14 yesterday morning. After playing three sets the remainder of the match was called off with the fourth set standing 6 to 6. Washburn won the first two set, 7-5, 6-4 and lost the third, 4-6. The fourth set will be played over, and the match will be finished next Thursday morning.
