COLLEGE DOUBLES IN TENNIS

Results of Yesterday's Matches and Schedule for Today,--Sophomore Class Title Decided.

Owing to the Senior Picnic held yesterday only two matches were played in the College doubles tennis tournament. E. H. Whitney '14 and J. J. Armstrong '14 defeated D. P. Rummy '16 and W. P. Hunt '16, 6-3, 6-4; and in the next round the same pair defeated F. S. Hide '16 and J. Wooldredge '16, 6-4, 6-3.

Matches This Afternoon.

The following matches will be played on jarvis Field this afternoon: C. C. Felton '16 and L. Curtis, 2nd, '16 vs. G. Sturgis '13 and S. Minot '13, at 4 o'clock; W. W. Mansfield '15 and e. H. Heminway '15 vs. T. B. Lewis '13 and H. G. Smith '13, at 2.30 o'clock; W. B. Harris '13 and partner vs. J. C. Devereux '14 and E. r. Hastings, Jr., '14, at 2.30 o'clock. The Winner of these two matches will play at 4 o'clock. A. J. Lowrey '13 and E. H. Woods '14 vs. D. Kimball '15 and E. s. Draper, Jr., '15, at 4 o'clock.

Trials for the University tennis team will continue this afternoon. A. J. Lowery '13 and E. H. Woods '14 will play O. Williams '14 and G. B. Kayser '14 at 2.30 o'clock.

Washburn Won 1915 Championship.

W. M. Washburn '15 won the Sophomore Class tennis championship in singles yesterday afternoon by defeating d. Kimball, 6-3, 6-4.
